The Nikkogrammes
It was during my studies for my Master’s Degree in typography that I invented the Nikkogrammes. They did not appear all at once, first they were vague signs, curves, rounds, angles and dots (Kadinsky was not that far away). You could already perceive the actual forms of the Nikkogrammes, but they were drawn more instinctively, with less technique. I am a graphic designer and my field is letter design. The Nikkogrammes followed my passion. Little by little, they became more refined, they looked more like a letter with the difference that they mean absolutely nothing. They are totally abstract.
